Conlon and Fallon announced as joint Senior managers
Clann na nGael are pleased to confirm the appointment of Seán Conlon and Pat Fallon as joint managers of our Matrix Bathrooms sponsored Men's Senior team.
Seán and Pat both live in Barna, County Galway and bring with them a wealth of management and coaching experience at all levels of the game.
Sean Conlon is a qualified PE teacher and played for Galway at minor, under 21 and senior level. He has over 20 years’ experience coaching club and school teams and recently guided two different clubs to the latter stages of the Galway senior championship. He also served five years as coach/selector with the Galway senior inter county team with Kevin Walsh as manager.
Pat Fallon played in midfield for his native Mayo in the All Ireland finals of 1996 and 1997. He won four Connacht SFC medals and an All Star award in 1997. Since his playing career ended, Pat has coached and managed clubs in three counties and also at third level with NUIG.
Seán and Pat will be assisted by our own Eamon Harney as selector. Eamon needs no introduction and has spent most of his adult life coaching and managing at all levels within Clann and beyond including being an integral part of the management team in our last championship success in 2018.
All Clann na nGael members and supporters at home and abroad wish Seán, Pat and Eamon every success for the year ahead and beyond.
